Working in teams, Mrs. Cindy’s GT students are designing and creating a working prototype for an original board game, including the product packaging. Students are also applying technical writing skills to create game set-up and play instructions.











In a class collaboration with Mrs. Season Johnson, Mrs. Ashley Coker’s English 1 Honors class conducted research on the Holocaust and World War II in the media center. Students read books and highlighted important information to present to the class during a gallery walk.








The EC High Academic Challenge team competed in the regionals last Saturday. We are so proud of this group of students! Also, congratulations to Quentin Coker and Nicholas McElveen for being named our All Star players!



Mrs. Krystina’s class began an argumentative unit about graffiti. The students are reading nonfiction articles about this topic in order to determine their view. Is graffiti art or is it vandalism?
Students have started constructing a city sky line. They will paint it with a positive community message in the days ahead. Stay tuned!!
