Some of our parents and children visited the Clarendon County Fire Department today, and it was such a great experience for everyone!
Families had the chance to learn firsthand about the strategies, duties, and training that are essential to being a firefighter. Our students enjoyed seeing the equipment, asking questions, and discovering how our local heroes keep our community safe.

🌟 November is National Homeless Youth Awareness Month 🌟
In Clarendon County School District, we stand united in supporting students and families facing housing insecurity. Through the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act, we work to ensure every child and youth has access to a free and appropriate public education - no matter their living situation.
Students who are staying in shelters, motels, or temporarily with friends or family because of loss of housing or hardship may qualify for additional support and resources through the McKinney-Vento Program.
If you or someone you know is experiencing homelessness, please reach out to our district’s McKinney-Vento Liaison, Dr. Dean Bryant, at dean.bryant@clarendoncsd.org or call 803-435-4435 for assistance.
