Student Growth and Equitable Opportunities

Individual growth plans are developed annually for each student to support their academic and personal growth. Our diverse school communities are supported by equitable opportunities for every student.

Career and Technical Education Pathways

Each high school offers a CTE pathway, while additional CTE courses are held at the F. E. DuBose Career Center. Through these pathways, students build career-ready skills and knowledge and earn state and national credentials.

Safe Schools

All district campuses are equipped with metal detectors and staffed by full-time school resource officers in partnership with the Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office.

Montessori Program

The district’s Montessori Program is located at Manning Early Childhood Center, where students learn from skilled instructors in a small-class environment.

1:1 eLearning District

All students are assigned a district-issued computer to support 21st-century learning both at school and at home, whenever needed.

Army & Air Force JROTC Programs

Two district high schools offer highly regarded JROTC programs that help students prepare for future service.

Future Farmers of America (FFA)

The district offers a nationally recognized FFA pathway for students interested in agricultural education and leadership.

STEM

STEM courses are offered throughout the district to support students’ learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Dual Enrollment & College Partnerships

High school students can get an early start on college through the district’s partnerships with Central Carolina Technical College, the University of South Carolina–Sumter, and Francis Marion University.
