CCSD Schools Make Gains on the South Carolina Department of Education Report Cards
CCSD shows a deeper dive into each school’s progress
Manning— October 21, 2024 – Superintendent Dr. Shawn Johnson stated, "As we work to provide top-quality education, our focus will be to strengthen areas of weakness and expand our areas of excellence. We've seen growth in several areas, and our goal is to extend this improvement system-wide."
Clarendon County Schools are making great strides as noted by the school report cards from the South Carolina Department of Education. Schools receive ratings for individual indicators as well as an Overall School Rating. Much like student grades, student indicators are rated based on five levels of performance. The highest performance level is a Rating of “Excellent” while the lowest level of performance is “Unsatisfactory.” CCSD is proud that all schools are performing “Average” and above. Below is a deeper dive into the results. For a more detailed look at scoring, visit https://expectmoresc.com/sc-report-card/. The printable version of this release can be found HERE.
