Manning Primary School is hosting a Fall Dance for MPS students on Tuesday, October 31st, from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m.

Today was the first save-the-date, Painting with P.R.I.D.E. with Mrs. Moye. Students used their "PAW-SOME" tickets, "Punch Cards" or Class Dojo Points" earned for positive behaviors to sign up to paint. We are so proud of these students for showing P.R.I.D.E by being prepared, being respectful, showing integrity, being disciplined, and being engaged!








Today our third graders participated in our first Reading Bowl. We are so proud of all our students for trying their best and showing good sportsmanship during and after each round. Students please continue to practice your sight words every day! Congratulations 🎉 to our Reading Bowl Champions, Mr. Reed's class!

Members of the Manning Rotary Club and the Delta Kappa Gamma distributed dictionaries to third grade students at Manning Primary School this morning. MPS would like to thank both organizations for supporting our students!











During the month of October, students in the library participated in Ms. Davis' Candy Corn Estimation Challenge. There were 400 pieces of candy corn in our estimation jar. First place winners with the exact estimation were: Faith Wells, Keyona Kennedy, and Cherish Conyers. Second place winner was Janylah Canty. Third place winner was Abby Felipe. Congratulations girls!!

For National Principals' Month and Bosses Day, Mrs. Moye and her team created cards and gifts to thank Ms. Tiffani Burgess for her love and dedication for Manning Primary School. Everyone in this school signed the wonderful card!

This creative Manning Primary Red Ribbon Week display in the cafeteria was created by Mrs. Moye and Mrs. Britt. A great reminder for our students to participate in this Red Ribbon week. Thank you both!!


Manning Primary started Red Ribbon Week!


It's time to show how much water you drink! Join the MPS Drink Water Campaign. Students will color in one glass after drinking 8 ounces of water. Prizes will be given to students who drink 50 8 oz. cups of water by December 8, 2023.



MPS will celebrate Red Ribbon Week October 23-27, 2023. All students and staff are encouraged to dress in each days theme.


Thanks for supporting our Fall Scholastic Book Fair and our students! The students and Ms. Davis enjoyed talking about some of our favorite books while shopping at the book fair.
