Our Read across America week celebration ended today with our "storybook parade". MPS students and staff dressed up as their favorite book characters.


Yesterday was "Reading Jogs the Mind" day. Students and staff wore workout, athletic, or sports team attire.






Another day of celebrating how much we love to read! For "Reading is Relaxing" day we wore our favorite vacation hat / sunglasses. Students also read and relaxed in the library and during lunch!

Today was our Black History Month Celebration with the theme of Black History Excellence. Our students enjoyed the sounds of the Manning High School Jazz Band and Chorus and a word from Ms. Kyndra Johnson, District Social Work Coordinator.

MPS was so happy to have students come to job shadow members of our staff today.

Last week was National School Counseling Week and celebrated our school counselor, Ms. Stukes. We are so thankful to Ms. Stukes for everything that she does for us at MPS.

Our third graders participated in the Math Bowl today. We are so proud of all our students for trying their best and showing good sportsmanship during and after each round. Students, please continue to practice your multiplication facts every day! Congratulations 🎉 to our Math Bowl Champions, Mrs. Holcombe's class!
